How can it help me?

BlackCurrent™ is designed to operate on a mixed load set up and will save between 15% and 35% of energy on each installed electrical appliance. The device is connected directly to the clients Distribution Board (DB). This is a simple installation requiring limited client downtime. BlackCurrent™ can operate on 15A single phase supply, up to 150A three phase. It works by continuously detecting the required load and self adjusts its reactor coil and auto coil to provide an optimum supply to the required load.

In many parts of the world, our 1 Phase models and 3 Phase models make excellent Home appliance models. BlackCurrent™ stabilizes and optimizes voltage and current supplied to loads, preventing transient activities like electric sags, spikes and surges . . . saving you energy and money and of course, significantly reducing your carbon footprint. In almost all parts of the world you can also get an incentive for an efficient investment in energy reduction.

The system makes use of deviations in voltage permitted by the energy supplier, up to a minimum of 207 V. The voltage can be individually set to the values according to the energy audit or preset in auto selection.

As a result, the appliances can continue to operate within the scope of both the manufacturer's warranty conditions and the legal standards pertaining to light density (DIN IEC 60038 and VDE 0175). BlackCurrent™ evaluates the primary power supply on an ongoing basis and optimizes consumption accordingly.

The equipment can pay for itself within a very short time-frame and ROI is normally within 1 year (depending on the project involved). BlackCurrent™ can be applied in industrial, public and home installations.

Available modules: 15A to 200A.

Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC)

ImageStarting in April 2010, the Carbon Reduction Commitment (CRC) is the UK's first mandatory carbon trading scheme. The initial phase of the Carbon Reduction Commitment will be compulsory for organisations that consume over 6,000 MWh (6,000,000 kWh) of half-hourly metered electricity during the period from January 2008 to December 2008. At today's prices, this is roughly equivalent to total half hourly electricity bills of approximately £500,000 per year.
