An estimated 3.3 quadrillion Btu (quads) of energy can be saved through continued improvements in component technologies. This savings is equivalent to 1.6 million barrels of oil per day. Additional improvements can be realized through improved system approaches, leading to more optimal integration of heating, cooling, and ventilation functions within the whole building design. http://www.eere.energy.gov/buildings/tech/hvac/

Clients with electricity bills between US$10,000 - US$20,000 per month are common and US$20,000 to US$50,000 per month on a frequent basis. The upper end users i.e. businesses such as mines, smelters and paper mills can have bills over US$1,000,000 per month! How many companies are there that could be potential customers? It has been our experience in the United States that more than half of all businesses have electricity bills high enough to be considered prospective clients. Virtually every business in that group is a potential client.
